I guess this is the problem with Massdrop right here. I was on this drop back in July 26th, 2013. The price per keyboard was $79.99 and I ordered two. Shipping for two to Australia was $29.48. The item was shipped on August 6th 2013. I received it a week or so later. Now, the item is almost $25 more expensive at the lowest drop, and the shipping is $29.48 each. What the hell is going on?

RambonoboSupply/Demand, people will pay $109+shipping for a Poker II. MD may be under more pressure profitwise than they where back in '13. Oversaturation of drops may not help, with all of the polls (most repetetive) going on right now there's a lot of pressure for MD to fulfil any and all requests so they rush things and we don't end up saving as much. Or it could be on the suppliers end. It's not always MD's fault.

RambonoboHey Rambonobo,
Thanks for commenting! I feel like I get a point every time you comment on one of the products up! It's important to remember right off the bat, we're here to make these products as accessible as possible. As such, when a price changes between drops, it's changing because our costs change, which is usually the result of manufacturing costs changing.
Was the previous Poker II buy you mentioned from KBT (Vortex) or KBC? It's important because both of them quote us different costs every time we negotiate the next buy. Given the demand, our biggest issue is finding one of them that has Poker II's available. Considering the size of these two companies, each time they do a production run they're negotiating new pricing on cases, PCBs, and above all switches. What they pay for these parts varies significantly (especially for switches), which makes our costs vary, therefore the prices vary in accordance with that.
As far as the international shipping goes, our international shipping methods have changed (greatly improved) since last July. At that point we were using a variety of services, some of which had, as we learned later, had very unreliable tracking information. We've changed services and while international shipping is more expensive overall, the quality of service has improved dramatically.
I hope this answers your question, please let me know if I can clear anything else up!

Hi Andrew,
I'm not sure I understand. From reading the FAQ, my impression was that international orders do not allow us to track the package. Has this changed?

AndrewLekashmanThe previous drop was https://www.massdrop.com/buy/kbt-pokerII, which is a KBT product. They're the same keyboard, right? The plate at the bottom might be slightly different, but I'm still enjoying the same feeling! Anyway, I didn't mean to come off too aggressively, but even though I don't want another one of these, the difference between what I recalled paying and the current drop seemed worth mentioning.
EDIT: I can't comment on the shipping front. It always seems to take one to three weeks, and I'm not fussed about that.
