I have the White version of this keyboard from qtan and it is the obsolete best keyboard I have ever used. Friends have asked me why I didn't get backlighting but the PBT keys make up for that. Enjoy your feeling!
GloomyMoonieGenerally, blues are good for typing, reds for gaming, and browns for both. However, many people enjoy typing/gaming on any of the choices. The differences are that blues are very clicky and are tactile, browns are quieter but still have a tactile bump, and reds don't have a bump.
FarsideI should have noted that I do have a cherry mx sampler, but there's no way to tell how it would 'feel' to have a full keyboard of a certain switch. I do know though that the blacks and reds could be described as "smooth", and I do like them, but as of now, my preference goes to the blues' "crisp". Browns have come across as "scratchy", so not really my thing. My question though is whether I could game on blues. I know that some people do, but is it objectively comfortable? My main concern is that the activation point is below the reset point, and for games where you need to spam-click it could be detrimental. I guess factors like learning curve or, put simply - "getting the hang of it" make this more of a personal choice, but if there's anybody who can objectively argue his decision, I'm all ears.
GloomyMoonieYeah, you're right regarding the issue with tapping a single key quickly on blues. I'm typing on reds right now and it's great since it's so smooth and fast to type on; great for gaming too. I like browns too - the Poker I'm still waiting on has browns. Planning on modding it to clears later. Haven't had extensive experience with blues so I don't have much of an opinion.
