I am now doubting that this was a real update. Not sure it takes 2 weeks for something to be sent from overseas. I order shit from China and it gets delivered within the week. God damn sherpa run my package to Massdrop center faster. I know for a fact I'm 2 day shipping from LA so this is annoying looking at Enroute for 2 whole weeks

DanBradburyMassdrop is shady as fuck, if you go to discussions of other products you'll see that shit like this happen frequently. Sometimes the wrong product get shipped and they use a cheaper version of the product instead of what is shown. Definitely the last time i'm using massdrop.

yjttI disagree with your post wholeheartedly yjtt. I have participated in about 6 drops now and they seem to go fairly smoothly and product is exactly as described. Yes, the wait time has been quite long for these products from china... but they weren't manufactured until the order was sent from massdrop. None of us would have had a chance at any of these coveted products without massdrop.
That being said... I think we are well overdue for an update on this item. It has been over 3 weeks since the last update. There has to be some news to give since I'm SURE there was a tracker with this shipment from china.

yjttWhat your fail to realize is that you CANT buy this keyboard anywhere else. The keyboard you will receive from massdrop is the FIRST MANUFACTURED. Manufactured means they had to make the keyboard from scratch after the order was sent in. Now we are also dealing with KBT, a company not known for their customer service. Also it has to be shipped from china once they are built (which is the status now). This means customs issues.
If it wasnt for massdrop, you wouldnt not be getting this keyboard at all. Also, in that speaker buy, it wasnt a mistake what they had listed and MD offered refunds.

PilotChupThat's being presumptuous though. Personally, I could have bought a Poker II or a KBT Race or any other 60%. I chose to buy this because it was cheaper, and I'm a sucker for new things. That being said, I did participate, but I would have been just as satisfied if not more had I bought an alternative keyboard. At the very least, I would have that keyboard now.

rembrmeBesides a poker II non-backlit, you cannot find a Race or Pro from KBT. They are sold out at every store online.
Update from Will @ MD:
"As for the pure pro, they're due to arrive in our fulfillment center VERY soon. They've been shipped out by the manufacturer overseas but foreign customs are very opaque so getting exact details is nearly impossible. Suffice to say, we're calling every day to make sure things are moving and they should arrive at our fulfillment center shortly."

I agree that there's no need to react if there's no news, but if you look a bit back intro the topic, people were getting the impression that they were left in the dark. In such a case, a simple comment like 'sorry, but there are no updates at this time. The shipment is still onroute.' would suffice.

How do you do per-key RGB lighting on a Shift V2?
I saw the online configurator that lets you do this on the Shift V1, where it spits out a compiled firmware file to flash. The V2 doesn't seem to have this function in the Windows configurator, though. I can't imagine the answer here is "you're going to have to manually write the hex for every key in QMK, compile it, and flash that".
