Wait until (at least) April for something to save $5? Still gonna have to wait on Drop's slow shipping, so are you really saving anything? You save $6 when factoring in shipping from Keychron. Just order it direct, you'll have a better experience. Anyone else remember when Drop actually offered decent deals? Pepperidge Farm Remembers. Edit: If you go to the keychron site right now they even have some special edition versions of this board with some cool switch/keycap choices still in stock.

whoatacosKeychron's shipping is abysmally slow and expensive; my two boards came DHL, took over a week and were $25 to ship. It's $184 for this board on their site right now except it is sold out (you are right that a bunch of other variants are not.) From my seat, if you want this specific board right now, this is a reasonable deal. I do remember the days of Massdrop though, where the 6XX were $200 flat, 58X were $150. I have a CTH that has no business sounding as good as it does for the price I paid for it off of this website. Their prior flashes of glory do seem to be fleeting.

BazirkerShipping costs were included in the numbers above, but all to my address. I have the opposite experience when it comes to shipping times, Keychron shipments take 5 or so days, when Drop's shipping takes at least 7 days. One notable difference is that Keychron packs and ships almost immediately, while Drop seems to take their time. Maybe shipping transit times have something to do with my location? I'm in SoCal.

How do you do per-key RGB lighting on a Shift V2?

I saw the online configurator that lets you do this on the Shift V1, where it spits out a compiled firmware file to flash. The V2 doesn't seem to have this function in the Windows configurator, though. I can't imagine the answer here is "you're going to have to manually write the hex for every key in QMK, compile it, and flash that".
