Stabs came in in a decent state, it's easy to set up and works fine. Wish it had VIA/QMK support, but it's good enough in it's current state, good as an intro board.
The reason I bought this keyboard was specifically to use the bluetooth and 2.4 functions. Neither of these functions have worked since I took it out of the box. It is just the fourth wired keyboard I have now, and it frequently enters pairing mode even though it will not pair to anything despite being wired.
I love this case. I am not advanced in any way when it comes to customizing a keyboard, so it helps when the stabs it comes with are already really nice. The board does dampen the sound a lot between the foam in the case and the foam between the pcb and the plate. This helps a lot with getting rid of the hollow sounds but makes the keyboard a lot quieter which I personally like.
Here are a few photos of the final build with the case:
^Exactly what it says on the tin, keydous being a chinese company does mean the instruction manual has a couple typos and is hard to read - so if it’s your first keyboard or you need your manuals, bring a friend! Love the knob tho.
I’ve had mine for about 4 months now and it’s really great. I’m a full time software dev so I type a lot, and also do a lot of PC gaming, it’s worked great for both.
the nob is super handy for audio. It has a nice weight to it and feels awesome. I currently have it using milky yellow switches and botanical keycaps.
here’s a photo of it with my well loved little old 25$ MageGee keyboard that this will be replacing as my primary
Grabbed this some cherry blues and bloom dusk caps as wife dislikes laptop keyboards and thats what she has for work. Wireless is nice but does suffer from delay at times but I've had that happen with other wireless keyboards as well, rgb is nice altho she doesn't use it at all, the brass plate would have been nice better sound imo, seems ok for the end cost will see how it does in the long run tho.
