Definitely attractive. But ultimately decided I wanted something a bit more compact yet with the same power. Went for the Klarus G20. Same features and battery, but an inch shorter overall.

Massdrop is a JOKE!!! Prices are higher than discount prices sold by online vendors. I collect many hight end lights that are super throwers, and flooders. Example : Imalent DX 80. MD price was $280 or so. I bought mine for $200 shipped.

Battery Junction sells this flashlight for $60.47. Is there a benefit to buying it on a drop versus there?

BonafideStellaYeah, must have been a SALE price back then. "Sells this" implies that that is their regular price for this flashlight, which apparently isn't the case.

should just be called Mass because their prices are a god damn joke. what does MD not understand???? here's a thought, how about lower prices and 3 day delivery. they'd double their profits. The majority of comments say how horrible their purchase is and that they paid MORE than other vendors. smh

Can anyone speak to the build quality/lifespan? Currently have an older model Fenix, which is non-rechargeable. I work in the 911 system, so the sturdy build has been nice, but I feel like I run through batteries quickly (read:higher upkeep cost than I would like), and this does not have the output which I would prefer (it would be nice to have a brighter view while walking into dark residences/encampments/hiking through trails). thank you in advance for your responses.

The new model Klarus XT11X is CREE XHP70.2 P2 - "3,200" Lumens. And is $89.95.

Great light, but I paid less for it, $75.56 with free shipping. Be aware it takes an uncommon battery size that can only be found online.

silverspurr5926650 batteries are hardly uncommon. I would imagine any number of vape shops carry them and they're easy to find online as well. Just sayin'...

ChakthiNot available at CVS, Rite Aid, Home Depot, Hardware stores etc. After an emergency hurricane/mass flood/mass fire aftermath no internet = definitely uncommon battery size to try to find anywhere.

Since this information is pretty conspicuously missing...
Turbo: 3000 lumens, 45 minutes High: 650 lumens, 4.5 hours Medium: 160 lumens, 19 hours Low: 15 lumens, 150 hours Strobe: 3000 lumens, 90 minutes SOS: 160 lumens, 51 hours
22,500 candela on Turbo

Blue42I also read a review that said it ramps down to 2,400 lumens after about 15 seconds on 3,000.

bryan.bellEven if true, Bryan, I wouldn’t let that one consideration affect your decision whether or not to purchase the light. The difference to your eye between 2400 and 3000 lumens is negligible, particularly in a light like this that’s more of a flooder than a thrower. And the increase in battery drain and heat that’s required to maintain those 3000 lumens for any length of time is disproportionately high relative to an extra 600 lumens.
