For home decor with a purpose, look to the rustic Hominy table set from LM Products, a third-generation family-owned American leather goods company. Great for a side table or trunk, the valet tray is sized to hold notepads, watches, wallets, sunglasses, and other everyday items Read More
LMproductsHi Tyler, can you by any chance find out what colour I had ordered? It's to be able to buy the same when it drops again (and bring tired if waiting, I might elect to buy it on your website, although there *is* a hefty price difference)...
It's order #MD-39394-1909230, and if you look below in the discussions I had put two pics. Not sure if I had ordered Classic Crazyhorse or perhaps Mahogany?
A full leather valet tray for $35 is a no brainer considering the vast amount of horrid and cheaply made valet trays out there in "PU Leather" for around the same price; every gentleman needs one.
Just received my large valet tray. Smells very strongly of what I assume is petroleum-based care products used on the leather. Based on my understanding, pull-up leather cannot be used with Saphir renovator, though that smells much better. Any thoughts on how to remove this smell? I can't keep it my room in this condition...
wangminzeThanks for reaching out on this. We typically give each leather good a quick polish before they ship out with Chamberlins Leather Milk or Griots 3-in-1. Both do a nice job, though I'm very sorry to hear the scent isnt to your taste. I did a little reading and I think the Saphir product would work just fine. I would be concerned about using it on an open grained or buffed leather, but not in the case of our Oxford Tan which has a closed grain. I'll order a jar and test it on one in house and let you know. Thanks and I will be in touch!

LMproductsI‘m guessing you read my email haha! Thank you for the reply on here for all to see. After reading some reviews, I think my product received a Griots 3 in 1 treatment. I do use Horween’s Venetian cream for their chromexcel since that’s what they use too. That product smells the similar to the tray but I guess it’s not really on such a large surface area. I actually used Saphir renovator on pull up leathers before I read you shouldn’t. When I did, there is noticeable darkening of the leather that does not go away. Again, appreciate the reply!
Quick question - the description shows pics for 'brown' and 'black' variants, but the option on purchase is either 'crazy horse' or 'black'.
Is the 'crazy horse' the same as the brown colour in the pictures? Would love a brown one, but from memory on some of the LM satchels, 'crazy horse' isn't actually a brown/chestnut colour like the pictures being shown with the drop?
