While many of the mice we feature here on Drop fit the bill as “Mech Keys approved”, it’s rare that there’s a mouse that aims to merge the two worlds in quite such an intentional fashion. Enter the LOFREE Touch PBT Wireless Mouse Read More
The caps are shaped for the mouse, mostly intended to be swapped out with other colors offered by Lofree. Some regular keycaps might fit on this mouse, but most won't. It uses regular mouse switches with MX-mount buttons on top.
Wired use via USB C is an option and includes a cable for charging, but presuming use of a similarly ultra-budget controller to the sensor, you're not getting anywhere near the kind of performance where 1,000hz makes any perceivable difference.

i really want this mouse, but am concerned about the DPI settings, are they hard set to 800, 1600, 2400, 3600, 4000? Or can you change that with software or something?
According to their site steps are adjustable by 200dpi increments, presumably somehow an on-board adjustment as a complaint in a review on the product page provides that software is not available.

They are shaped and sized specifically for this mouse and don't really correlate to actual keyboard keys aside from being swappable via MX mount. Lofree makes a handful of different colors that can be changed out, most normal keys won't fit on this mouse.
