Great EDC, but, too bad it doesn't support 4.2V 10440 Lithium batteries.....

ColinsdadIt does, it's just "not recommended." Aka it won't keep itself from burning up if you leave it on high too long, and if you happen to accidently get unlucky and toast it, it's on you - not them. That said, people use them.

ZiglafCouldn't agree more....I'm a Candlepower forums regular and have quite a bit of respect for Lumintop and their products (I was a T15 Product Tester for them years back). However, as is the case with this and similar AAA lights, it's not designed to run 10440s. I have 6 AAA lights currently- they can all run an unprotected 10440, but, they lose some of their functions in the process. I'd prefer my Peak Eiger X or one of Skylumen's 10440s- I had a number of them up on a poll, but, no one showed any interest.
