Overall the board is quite nice but with a few QC issues, the included USB cable hardly works, the battery is loose. Other than that it's quite good.

i really like this board, actually. the look, the caps, the typing feel (i got gat blues) are all good to me...but the cable conked out a couple of months in; same for the bluetooth. i got it connected to my phone a couple of times when i first got it, but it just doesn't work at all anymore (can't pair) and hasn't since this was still mostly new. i try it once in a while but...no luck. i'd say get it if you don't care about the bluetooth.

Great Board - No issues

I'll occasionally use this board over some of my more expensive boards just because it never double-taps or ghosts. The Bluetooth is nothing special, but it does function as advertised. Overall, Magicforce is an underrated brand and I have never had issues with their products.

Perfect Entry Level Keyboard

I bought this a while back and used it consistently for about a year now. This is my first bluetooth keyboard. Its not hard to set up the connection, once you do if feel real nice not having a wire from your computer to the key board. I went ahead and got them with Gateron Brown. I like the tactility of these switches, these are my first tactile switches as well. Starting off with this setup is a great way to get into keyboard hobby. The backlighting is great. There are honestly so many options to choose from its overwhelming. The only problem i ran into when using this keyboard was that sometimes i will have difficulty connecting via bluetooth and have to switch back to a wired connection. This problem was rare, but overall this is a good entry level keyboard to buy.

It's fine, feels cheap

I didn't have any real problems, other than the whole thing is just a bland keyboard that is uninspired. It gets the job done, connections are great. But it feels a bit cheap, especially with "Magicforce" written so largely between the keys on the right.

Serviceable Bluetooth Keyboard, Great Keycaps, Questionable QA, Abysmal Customer Service.

You should only really buy this if you like the classic Macintosh Univers font on the keycaps. The bluetooth functionality works as you'd expect, battery life is solid, build quality is fine, but switching between devices is clunky. Quality Assurance isn't the best on these things as you've seen in the other reviews and comments, although my item didn't come with any glaring issues externally. But this brings us to the major issue with this keyboard. There is absolutely no warranty on this thing. If you have an issue come up after the 30 days in which you receive it (which you probably will because again, QA is spotty), you have no recourse as far as refunds, replacement, or service goes. Apparently Magicforce doesn't have a manufacturer's warranty on this item, or at least Drop's customer service won't direct you to them for it. I discovered this after I had a temporary issue with some keys no longer registering, which thankfully fixed itself after I disconnected the keyboard for a while. Had the issue persisted, I would be stuck with a pretty aluminum brick. It is unconscionable that Drop and Magicforce refuses to stand by their merchandise. I advise you look elsewhere unless you absolutely must have the keycaps on this thing, and patronize the numerous other mechanical keyboard companies that will stand by their products a month after you receive it.

This Is Not a Review, Rene.

I hate to break it to you, Crinkles, but this isn't a review. It's a set of impressions intended to offset the verdicts of unlucky reviewers. (Hey, I'm just trying to give you a realistic sense of what to expect.) Some knowledgeable foonts here on MassDrop have reported problems with Magicforce's quality control. Astonishingly, that hasn't been my experience. In fact, I haven't endured a single putrid moment with the MF68BTv2 during the seven months I've owned it. And in case you're woundering, Patient X, I bought the exact iteration being offered in this drop. 'Pon arrival, the wee 68 proved minty and unproblematic, much like the background singer I had to book last weekend. And like said singer, this board promises to look younger than I ever did for a longer stretch than my actual youth lasted. With the exception of the logo and the not-quite-5.0 BT, I like everything about the 68v2. The color scheme is conservative enough for work without being monotonous, the keycaps are chunky without being obtrusive, and the white LEDs are useful without being ostentatious. Connection is swift and switching is unproblematic. Yeah, the space bar is a Hank scratchy and I'd have liked more choices for the keycaps and switches, but everything feels Jake and not janky. The fact I haven't swapped out the caps even though I have a closetful of contestants means the OMs are satisfying enough pour moi. (Your vileage may marry.) I've had zero battery issues, fires or scuffs. This keyb has never snuffed itself once. Worried about the bluetooth being responsive? Let me commiserate: I've dealt with 3.0 boards before and I'll never buy another. Bad bluetooth can't be redeemed by looks or convenience. If it stutters, send it back. But so far, my 68v2 has been hella responsive. It hasn't lost its place when I'm crafting fiction or whittling ripostes. So to sum, I've found this keyb to be reliable, attractive and bleeding useful for the seven months I've fondled it. If anything changes, I'll let you know in gutteral tones. Or to putt it another way, Mister Woods: Suffice to bleat that when it comes to MF68BTv2, the benefits outweigh the blemishes. Why? Because there aren't any blemishes and they wouldn't have weighed anything anyway.

VarholiaglimpHonestly for every 3 or 4 they make well they fuck one up, with mine the USB port is very poor and will often disconnect and the included cable just straight up doesn't work. Oh and the battery is loose inside the case and while rattle.

Bullet Points instead of Paragraphs Review. Go Nuts.

I dislike lengthy reviews which use overly-verbose language. Enjoy some bullet points: Things I do not like:

-Spacebar and Backspace make scratchy noises from the stabilizers; a bit annoying. Fixed with lube applied directly to stabilizer by removing keycap.
-I dislike the boxy font for the legends. Fixed by swapping out with another keycap set.
-The spacebar is white instead of gray. Fixed by swapping out with another keycap set.
-The bluetooth connection is choppy AF. This alone is why I give the review 3-stars instead of 4-stars.
-I dislike the placement of tilde/grave (~ and `) in the media cluster. This is an unintuitive and difficult-to-use location. I would rather it be another layer behind the ESC key.
-There are small plastic teeth which hold the USB cable in place on the bottom of the keyboard. These teeth create permanent indentations on the cable itself.
-The ugly "Magicforce" logo carved into the faceplate between the arrow cluster and media cluster.
-Does not have hot-swap sockets for the switches.

Things I do like:

-The MF68 layout is amazing for my general workflow at the office. I do miss the 10-key sometimes, so I placed an order for the MF21.
-The slim profile makes travel easy (home and office).
-Rubberized retractable feet for keyboard tilt. While these ones are a bit cheap, they are thicker plastic than other keyboards I have used.
-I chose Gateron Black switches; highly recommend these switches
-The price was just right. This was a major consideration in my purchase.
-I can store multiple bluetooth devices for connection (multiple laptops, phone, etc).
