Love it
It has served me well over the years of having it. The feel of the leather exterior is exactly what I was looking for. And the latch just adds the right amount of weight and feel to the cover.

The actual notebook case is great. The leather is easy to work with and will stand up to abuse for many years. The huge flaw is the clasp but I found a work around for it, remove all the hardware... (see attached pictures)
Side note to the company who made this. Please either add a pen loop, or cut slits like I did so that it is easy to take your writing utensil.

It looks great, the leather is amazing. Fatal flaw for me is the clasp (while nice) makes writing on the back of a page impractical. Big problem for me.

I tend to handle my notebooks rather roughly as I move around the classroom/lab (I teach 8th grade science). I decided that having a durable cover might be a good idea. This leather journal cover was just what I needed. It easily deals with all the indignities I put it through daily. Tough and good looking, it is great!
