Yup I'm the A-hole likes to call out on products…110 lumens for 30 mins and you have to click through the output settings, how long is the warranty? I use Milwaukee, 100 lumens 3.3 hours for the same price, and all Milwaukees are 5 years on the warranty, besides the service center is 2 miles from my house…1 click on 2nd click off that's it! Guess what it's the same price! Here's the link! MD please drop something useful! https://m.grainger.com/mobile/product/419J83?cm_mmc=PPC:+Google+PLA&s_kwcid=AL!2966!3!50916710037!!!g!102361597317!&ef_id=WeL82AAAAFZYUVbn:20180417213608:s

KamikazinycIf you are buying this because you think its the brightest of longest lasting flashlight you can get for $35, you are in the wrong place. Im buying this for its miniscule size, (while still supporting rechargeables) great build quality (milled aluminum, not cheap chinese extruded aluminum). It doesn't matter to me if a $25 dollar product has a 5 year warranty, since It will cost nearly half the product cost to ship it back, I'd rather have something that im confident wont fail in the first place. I am purchasing this as an edc light, a step up from my phones light, that can hang on my keychain. battery life is of less importance in such a use case, I've carried one around for over 6 months and never fully drained a rechargeable battery with it, as I stay aware of how long I've used it for.

johnny304Had my Milwaukee as EDC for over 4 months, original battery! If you want a badass mil-spec for cheap go with Streamlight sidewinder, I've had it for a few years now, went through hell and back! @ 55 lumens, more than enough to see, I mainly use it when I'm tinkering with DIYs, or it attached to my welding helmet…and when SHTF this little bad boy will be attached to the side of my Delta X 3A! It'll compliment my NV and FLIR on center!

KamikazinycOk, thanks for the heads up. But there are plenty of more relevant 2-cell lamps here on MassDrop you could be spamming with your suggestions. You're in the wrong thread for this one.

glennacWe are all here to save money, I'm sure we all shop around for better price, if sharing knowledge is spamming, then you should have your own site called "Mass spending"!

KamikazinycNo, share all you want. But at least pick threads that are relevant to your recommendations. As I said, there are plenty of 2 X AAA flashlight drops here. This doesn't happen to be one of them.
Now if you've got a better suggestions for single-cell AAA lights than the ones offered here, we're all ears. But not if you are comparing Apple's to Oranges. It's not always about $$$. Some of the mini torches here have high aesthetic appeal as well. Anyone can go buy an 8$ 3-cell aluminum LED flashlight at HomeDepot and probably be happy with it.
Others here are not interested in cheap. Some are collectors. Others are looking specifically for a Copper, Brass, or Titanium version of a specific torch. Others appreciate the high intensity or color of a specific element. Still others want the smallest form-factor they can find. Declaring that you have a found a cheap light, with comparably cheaper features, isn't helpful.

glennacCouldn't have stated that ANY better. Yes, I'm a flashoholic- have been since a backpacking trip to New Mexico when I was 16 (turning 47 soon). Once I realized the breadth of emitters, li Ion batteries, etc, there was no turning back. I even managed to get myself into all kinds of trouble when I was in the USAF as carrying a flashlight on one's person was considered an illegal tool. Didn't matter, still used my own lighting and was EXTREMELY careful about keeping tabs on my "illegal tool light". Sooooo, there are folks like me on CPF (Candlepower Forums) and here who look for lights on a ENTIRELY different level than your "standard" flashlight consumer. And yes, we flashlight geeks freak out over seemingly stupid/trivial things and use silly terms like Corona, Spill and Emitter color to describe flashlight performance. What I've found being on Massdrop is that the lights they sell here are usually a TAD overpriced for what they are, and they have yet to convince smaller specialized lighting Companies like Skylumen.com to sell on here. Until then, I continue to find little gems on here from time to time, in ALL categories- I just need to do some Googling to find out whether the price/options offerred here is worth it or not. Happy New year!!
