Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. I, and I'm sure, every enthusiast in here would love to suggest some options for you.
Many of us have multiples of everything because we fell down the hole, we've been to other side and experienced how beautiful it can be. My musical interests went from mostly rock, rap, edm, and others except country (typical) to EVERYTHING, And that's because the potential is too good. I can't just hear this song one way. I NEED to hear it every way in order to understand! HAHA. I liken to having the ability to experience taste from another's POV. Or Being John Malkovich. I've become too curious to say "No thanks, I prefer money and security."
The downside is, through research and experience, I've discovered that my endgame setup wishlist costs @ $12,000. And that's being conservative and savvy with sales and stuff. And if I did achieve this lofty goal, you know I'm still gonna be curious about some new $100 phenom! HAHA!
None of these are really great for treble heads. I mainly like the cheaper stuff to see how much sound and build quality I can get for as little money as possible. And of my nine(?) heaphones and 7(?) iems, these are my faves.
