Does anybody know where I could get a replacement cable? mine got damaged due to an accident, can any 3.5mm cable work on Amazon? will it affect the mic volume?

john5220Any 3.5 cable will work. The default one is pretty thin, so if anything, a thicker cable can possibly even increase quality. The only issue may be the mute switch, but I would guess you should not have an issue finding a 3.5 cable with a mute switch. Since it's not a software thing, but rather a hardware mute, it should work just fine.

Kabs195I am replying to this way later than is reasonable, but it may help anyone that stumbles upon this. The 3.5mm cable that it comes with send the voice through both left and right channels. When I had to replace it with another, it sent the voice through only a single channel. It's possible that whatever software you're using is taking this single channel and interpreting it as the signal at half the strength it once was.
