My headphones came with no documentation or booklets in the box. No owner's manual or warranty info; just headphones, cable, and ear cups. Is this normal?
nick_twell I tbh dont notice major difference between different good audio cables, the only real time there is a major difference is when the cable is bad, or damaged, or if its silver cable-then the volume goes up signifficantly-since silver has lower resistance
all I can say is that these are good quality and I have no issues with them, plenty of people tried them as well and had no real problems either so if you can see the major sonic difference then try these out, pretty sure they will not dissapoint you, the guy that makes them is also quite responsive and nice, so there is that as well
Phantom_NyanWhat about Audio heart and other audiophile cable are there any sonic difference in terms in quality ? Also, Audio heart cables only make paracord cables ?
Phantom_NyanWhat's wrong with the stock cable !!?
Why every body is ordering a replacement one !! I ordered fiio Q3 amp with it, did i miss any thing our need another cable to run it right ?
3oomarrnothing wrong with using the stock cable, it works fine and generally does its job, people are just unhappy because its stiff and a bit long, generally not a very comfortable cable
ImOffendedTotally. I’ve learned to expect, and I don’t mind one bit, that their cables will get here when they get here. It’s a cool little business that punches wayyy above its weight.
Somewhat late to the party… – but CustomCans in Cheltenham, UK: https://www.customcans.co.uk/They also have an eBay shop: https://ebay.co.uk/usr/customcans
Have now bought two pairs of modified headphones from them; two long balanced cables (to go with the former); and several short adaptors… – one of the latter bringing such a smile to my face… – instantly wiping out any scepticism re cable quality and its contribution to musical quality: 15+ cm of cable connecting a 2.5 mm TRRS socket to a four-pin male XLR magically(!?) bringing the sound beautifully to life (in too many ways to go into here)!
A small, tightly-knit team: their workmanship and customer service is friendly, professional, and on the humorous side of exemplary… – which is why I keep going back!
Merry Christmas(ish)!
GdavidIf you have an amp with a balanced connector, makes sense to utilize that and you need a separate cable. The package only comes with a cable terminating in a 1/8 jack
Does anyone know a comparable shop in the EU or specifically Germany? Been searching the internet for hours now and couldn't find any. While Hart Audio Cables do dispatch to Germany, the transportation fees are higher than the price of the cable itself.
NintendomanNope, I ended up ordering from hartaudiocables.com which I can really recommend. The manufacturers in Germany I asked for quotes just offered super expensive audiophile cables (~800 € and more expensive). So it was more economic to order a cable with a full set of interconnects and case from hartaudiocables. I'm quite happy with the noticable sound change that came with the balanced cable from them. HTH
RowartI am an honest audio mastering engineer and I can tell you that the sound changes when a cable is replaced. Cables don't matter for people who can't hear the difference :)
RowartOnly if you tried a bad cable.
You will be amazed how a cable can destroy the audio quality.
But in general, any bundled cables should suffice in terms of audio quality.
These have much less pronounced Beyer Highs, especially if you listen to heavy music, these are better, more pleasant sound
The impedance on 177x is lower, 32 vs 250 ohms on 1770, so they are much easier to drive and wont require a amp, but I would still recommend having one with a dac, to make them sound better
These have less accessories than 1770, these only come with 1 cable, 2 pads, while the 1770 come with a case,2 cables and 2 pads
Answer. Right here. Drop refunded as soon as I returned them. Brett in support was great! Missed the drop to reorder so haunting the site to replace or find a different pair. Love open back headphones, but love the closed back sound. Must resist the CX's...
