It is probably hiss from your dac/amp. I have this with my dragonfly red as well but not with my desktop amp. The ifi iematch should remove the hiss but I found it better to live with the hiss than to use the iematch for my own use. Hopefully the hiss isn’t noticeable when listening to music

IIRC, .78mm, definitely 2 pin. Termination, whatever you need to fit your source requirements.

Comply suggests 500 series but i saw people suggesting 400 will fit snugly too.

I haven't heard the original zeus. But crinacle found they're identical in sound.
