All pricing complaints aside (I paid $600 - haha!), I've spent some time with these and I must say:
1) Get rid of that bag of stock tips.
2) Buy SpinFit CP240 (double flange), particularly the small ones.
I've tried the stock tips, Spiral Dots, Symbio, Comply, SpinFit CP500, all sorts of stuff. The CP240 is the best and it's not even close (although foam tips like Comply come second).
These IEMs require deep insertion to avoid too much sibilance, and that's not necessarily easy with this shell shape. The CP240s allow for deep insertion, and the double flange keeps the IEMs secure while providing a perfect seal. The treble remains crystal clear while being silky smooth. An absolute must-try.
thefitzYou should try Final Audio Type E tips. By far, my fave silicon tips by a long mile. They've replaced all my others unless I'm using a triple flange. They also FR match each pair so you get consistency with each set. Something I don't think any other manufacturer does.
jaydunndidditPurchased on your recommendation! The best part about the SpinFit double flange is they kept the Kaiser still in my ear, instead of constantly sliding out. We shall see how these go.
Though it's tiny, it manages to power even high ohm headsets with amazing accuracy. It works great with the drop usb-c to usb-c and my Phillips shp-9600. Soon enough I'll be using the Akoustyx...
