I just received mine, and my first impressions are that these feel solid and substantial in the hand. The pre-bent spring wire cable is shaped for tiny baby ears and constantly yank the iems out of place. Thankfully I have a Linsoul cable for astell & kern sitting here and it’s much better around my ears. If you pick up this end of life drop, don’t bother buying the Kaiser cables. The ear tips are a bit too slick and slowly slide out of place over and over. I’m trying the compressible foam tips right now and they are better. My current “good” iems are the Drop + earbuds, and these Kaisers are a significant upgrade in sound for the midrange. Guitars and women’s vocals sound more full and rich. I Wonder if aftermarket ear tips could present more Mid without damping the brilliant treble.
edit - my comments are based on use with my astell&kern kann cube.
This would be really awesome if you can match the $650-$700 price level when you released this in the Euro Drop back then. Noble's ongoing Black Friday sale is having the K10 Encore and Katana at $925. Can't go wrong with any of these former Noble flagships though.
