Massdrop were kind enough to send me one of these. I have spent the last two days playing with my set, on both CS:GO and Overwatch, mainly the former. I am still enjoying and getting used to the HRTF sound in CSGO- the sound is clear and easy to understand (where it is coming from) with my tests from this headset. Also I hear a lot more of the ambient noise that my normal headset seems to lose. I'm glad they took away the 7.1 as I don't find that at all helpful for serious gaming.
In terms of comfort, the over-ears are very comfortable and snug around the ear, playing for extended periods of time the headset was still comfortable! I like the sturdiness of the mic as well compared to more wiry headset mics. Doesn't look bad either.
Overwatch was good as well, had no issue with directional sound and the music of rocket deployment and junkrat spam was very satisfying!
Feel free to send questions about anything i've missed I'll answer as best I can.

BardolphHow is the microphone quality on it? Is it as as "nazzely" as the regular 737D or is it as good as the PC 363D?

Bardolphwait, how did you get this item before it's live?
eisengardMassdrop contacted me, asking if I would review a sample. On it! I assume it was the same for Bardolph.
I was live streaming on Thursday on Twitch with the PC37X, the mic sounded good with mic monitoring and the replay didn't sound honky or contested for me. I wouldn't use it to record a singing performance, but it's more than adequate for clear voice communication in game chat.

EvshrugDoes the PC37X come with software, like the 373D?

CoollDaveMy friends think it is good - I need to do some recordings of it to test it myself, I will do this tomorrow and come back to you!
CoollDaveNo, pretty much the only thing in the box is the headset, with the cable already attached (so firm at first I thought it was hard wired and not removable, ha), and the form-fitting plastic.
CoollDaveCoollDave, I think the ADC (analog to digital converter) makes a significant difference, so the USB dongle on the PC373D was probably the culprit of the nasally sound.
