And, complete systems that re-edge the blade, like the EdgePro or Wicked Edge, are great but take off more metal than you need to just for edge maintenance, use them when you need to re-edge the knife.
MosesEDCFixed angle sharpeners are just fine for this knife, as long as you select the stone grit appropriate for the maintenance that you want to perform. If you are just touching up the edge, for example, don't start doing so with too course of a stone.
MosesEDCYes to what Moses says, somewhat..depending on the abrasives used WE and edgepro can remove a lot or a little steel. KME or WE as high end and I'd recommend a diamond stone (course/fine) and a strop
A strop will go a long way toward maintaining the edge on this knife. As far as sharpening it goes, I use free hand sharpening on bench stones, but any standard sharpening system will work fine. As the user below me posted, don't use pull through sharpeners.
