Hey everyone!
V4 is here! We're bringing two new earth-tone colors into the mix this time, Coyote and Slate, as well as bringing back the much loved blacked-out keyset.
The inspiration for this collection this time was earth tones & tech wear - grounded, minimal, and functional. The concept for the color ways was 'synthetic + natural' -- using earthy colors but applied with a high-tech feel. Coyote is almost a muted matte, earthier bronze, and Slate like a warm gray stone.
I'll be shooting my own photos over here in Tokyo to better capture these colors in a day-to-day natural setting and posting here as well as on our instagram over at @tyokbd.
Hope everyone enjoys this latest release!
p.s. noticed it's not mentioned above but YES screw in stabs will be GMK Stabs.

tokyocoffeenerdCan you PLEASE, please, please make a kit without an integrated plate? I think the vast majority of people interested in builds like this would much prefer not having an integrated plate. I understand that might increase the cost, but I'd GLADLY pay $250-300 for this kit if it wasn't integrated.
Howdy, the RGB led near the usbc port is permanently green. Has this happened to anyone else? This happens regardless if the RGB is turned off and also in all the animation modes.
Hello,
recently my tokyo60 v4 PCB died on me. I was able to replace it with a pcb from 1upkeyboards: https://1upkeyboards.com/shop/controllers/1up-rgb-60-pcb-hte/
"1UP RGB 60% PCB HTE™ (Hotswap Tsangan Edition) TSANGAN/HHKB"
Thought this may be helpful for anyone else in the same spot.
Andy_WhoGreat find!! I haven't had a PCB problem yet, but I have 4 Tokyo60s in my collection.
I'll be buying a PCB just to have in case they aren't available if I need it in the future.
Andy_WhoSame happened to me! Apparently the Tokyo 60 PCB is very susceptible to static (unlike the drop ALT and CTRL). Even if you replaced it with another Tokyo60 PCB - I would be afraid it would just die next winter.
Question - I already have the 1UP, but it looks like the USBC doesn't stick out far enough. Did it work out well for you?
I'm also considering the YMDK GH60 solder PCB with under glow.
Hey, I finished building my Tokyo60. I plugged it in and there is no power to it, or any inputs registering. How can I resolve this issue? No keys are working, and it doesn't have power.
