Easily configurable through the VIA software, and the Gateron Yellows sound fantastic and thocky out of box. If you are looking for a simple, small, and configurable macropad, this is a good option to consider.
Bought this little pad for my wife to edit audio, something small, love the gate to. Yellows in it, easy to program and the rgb is a nice touch. She loves it. Happy wife happy life.
I finally got one of these to pair with my tkl keyboard. Im not a “computer person” by any means, but getting the software to work and key settings applied didn’t take too much effort. I was able to program all four keys, the knob press, the left movement, and the right movement with no issues.
I enjoy the heft and finish of this macropad. I disliked that the feet cover the screws; it's a hassle, so I didn't even try to disassemble it.
First time using QMK, and I was able to build my own keymap and flash this macropad with no issues. Had to hunt a little to find the appropriate QMK fork as it is not part of the QMK master. Haven't messed with the default lighting profiles, but there are a lot of them, and you can shift the hues easily—it just takes a while to get back to a light mode if you accidentally pass it.
I swapped out the keycaps with some extra OEM pudding keycaps I had.
