I haven't had any issues with this product other than it entering a sort of rest mode after a few second after each use. Anyone know how to keep it on that doesn't require flashing?
THIS COMPANY LIES. IT PROBABLY WON'T WORK LIKE IT'S SUPPOSED TO AND SUPPORT IS NONEXISTENT. IF YOU BUY THIS GOOD LUCK! BUT I WARNED... AS I BOUGHT ONE OF THEIR PRODUCTS AND IT'S A PAPER WEIGHT / SWITCH TESTER (BUT WITH ALL THE SAME SWITCHES...LOL).
It seems that there are many people who bought this product and are suffering from VIA1.3.1 not recognizing their keyboards properly.
I suffered from the same problem and solved it by searching.
First, update the firmware of the keyboard with the following method.
https://wiki.keebmonkey.com/en/guides/kb16update
Then, get the VIA3.0 version and run it, and it will be recognized well.
https://github.com/the-via/releases/releases/tag/v3.0.0
There is a security problem when downloading, but it seems to be caused by the part that directly controls the keyboard, but if you ignore it and download and run it, it works fine.
Then I hope you have a pleasant keyboard life.
For reference, the keyboard names used for two or more key combinations are as follows.

Also, I wish Megalodon would make more of an effort to post detailed information about these things on the main page sooner rather than later, so that this good product doesn't end up in a warehouse being cursed by consumers.
I'd personally stay miles away from this product based on my experience with the 38% model. No support from Keebmonkey whatsoever in terms of technical support, their sales team to arrange a refund, or anything else that could make my 38% keeb functional beyond being a paperweight.
I've had mine for about 3 months and the 3rd column of keys no longer work. Most of the LEDs have stopped working too. I got it for XMas new and its the 2nd revision. I tried the new firmware update and it updated successfully but did not fix the issue.
Just got my Megalodon Triple Knob and love it so far. Easy to flash and get running with the latest VIA.
Only thing I am having an issue with is the Macropad isn't shutting down with my computer. The RGB stays on and the screen will illuminate if I touch anything. Is there any way to get this to shut down alongside my computer?
DrPandaMy guess would be that you are plugged into an always on charging port on the computer. Likely labeled with a jagged bolt. Choose another port and see if the issues ceases.
I have the black version and enjoy using it, but find the large knob is a bit loose compared to the 2 smaller knobs, and doesn't always register when the knob clicks. Has anyone else encountered this, and is there any way to fix this?
