DuctTapeIsSilverYeah, I was wondering about this as well. That seemed like a pretty definite statement when it was issued. I managed to get some of the keycaps out of that debacle though.
I was talking with someone on another forum and they described Melgeek as the "weird uncle" of the Mechanical Keyboard world, and that pretty much sums it up for me. The experience of getting my board from their Kickstarter campaign was awkward.

CyphreI mean regardless of them having the product, there was a very definite statement put out saying that they would not be working with them in the future. There should've at least been an indication or retraction of that statement. "We won't work with you" doesn't mean "we won't work with you on only group buys".

KevinI'm sorry but well reviewed by who? This specific product has been poorly received by several people across various sites. On top of that, many have spoken out, or taken a stance, against Melgeeks business practices, Drop included.

BwipMostly long wait times, essentially missing their original ship date by months with little to no communication. Some people have claimed to have never gotten it (can't say whether this is true). I was in the market for their mojo68 not too long ago, and basically read up on it and joined their last campaign. Basically you had to pay $1 to even join, which was nonrefundable which is pretty sketch, however that $1 does go towards your purchase if you decide to buy one. Some reviews on r/MK have claimed certain features were poorly implemented as well, if I remember correctly it was the wireless connectivity.

MickifreeIt's never totally reliable to compare search results, but the top results returned to me for "melgeek mojo68 review" on both google and YouTube are overwhelmingly positive. This would appear to be a huge correction on melgeek's part from their prior offerings which lead to the dubious reputation. That, coupled with the fact that these boards are already produced and in-stock gives a lot of confidence in their ability to deliver in a timely manner.
Now, as to the point about officially retracting a statement of never working with someone - yeah, that probably should have been done. Or more specifically, a statement of absolutes probably shouldn't have been made in the first place. Most people/businesses deserve a shot at redemption, and melgeek appears to be on that path.

HoffmanMysterI'm reading comments on r/MK showing people haven't gotten their boards yet as of 2 months ago, still relatively recent. Of course you could be right and Melgeek could've changed things up and addressed their issues.
However, am I missing something? You said these boards are already produced and in-stock? Then why is it in a "pre-order" state with a shipment date of August?

MickifreeGood question - the boards are in-stock at the vendor, and will be shipped to the US by ocean freight. The estimated ship date of August builds in some buffer in case there are any shipping or other delays. I wouldn't be surprised if these ship before that estimated date. And note that the prior run which ended a few weeks ago will be on a different shipment and should arrive well before then.

ALT V2 not detected with Drop Keyboard Configurator
Hi, This is my first non-mac keyboard. I was under the impression that this would work out of box with with mac desktop however I am having issues getting the ALT V2 detected with the keyboard configurator software. The keyboard is plugged in and powered on. Apologies if this is very basic or if I have used incorrect language describing my issue, I don't have experience with this. Thank you
