Don't have the Street Beat at hand, but IIRC tip to pommel the Slimline has more of an inward curve that will lend itself to short lead hooks from reverse grip, edge out. The grip also has more of an inside curve that I suspect will leave it more stable in the hand when throwing hooks as described.
I like wearing a small fixed blade midline that I can draw in reverse with my lead side, or in forward grip off my reward dominant side. This looks like it'll fit the bill nicely, though I'll likely modify the attachment method.
