Hmm this Monoprice panel which seems very similar (same IPS?) excepted added speakers, hdmi 1.4 and displayport has a NO backlight bleed guarantee.. http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=114&cp_id=11401&cs_id=1130704&p_id=10489&seq=1&format=2

BryanWhile that's true, some people (like me) really appreciate not having the input lag that all those extra ports add.

BryanBryan, same IPS panel. My thought is that they just run tighter QC on them with a better guarantee.
