I love my slingback chair!!!   I was aware that it would be tricky to set up, but practice in the lounge room had it down pat in no time.   I took it for week long walk just recently and my back loves it!!   Settling in after a day's walk reclining with back support was heaven!!    I laid the poles in position first, then held them in one hand at  the crossing point  whilst I sat on the bottom and then adjusted correct angle with tips in soil before settling back.  Once you get the hang of it, brilliant!!!!   It is so light and I also use it for vestibule mat and a sit pad for short breaks.  For the price and weight, excellent!!!  I found it very comfortable, once you experiment with sit positions and back height.

Simple yet functional
Simple design yet functional. Easy to set up and comfortable to have something to sit on the ground and lean against for back support. Light enough to throw in your pack without feeling guilty about too much weight.

Surprisingly Comfortable, Higher Support, Ultralight and Inexpensive.
Here is an update after use: I have z poles, and they are not ideal, because they just couldn't shorten enough to get a prime angle. That said, they still worked and though they stick out to the sides quite far, it really only became an issue when the ground was super soft, as this angle made them slip more easily.

I really liked how I could easily change the angle and recline or sit straighter up by simply scooting the base of the chair (where I my but was) either forwards - to lean back, or backwards towards the poles - to sit straighter up.

Lastly, you can see how the chair can come high enough so that you can rest your head back and really get comfortable. To me, this was the coolest thing about it - actually having a high back chair that supported my neck and head. ========================= This was one of the first things I bought on Drop and.... well, lets just say that I learned that you got to be patient when ordering from this retailer. The chair itself is great. It works as described and I like how high it comes up on my back. It is lightweight and packs down really small. It easily fits into my backpack and at less than 5 oz, it is a lot lighter than my old crazy creek or some of the other chairs like the Helinox Zero. Plus, it's about $100 cheaper!! I am 6'9" and this chair is extra awesome because it comes up higher on my back, which is a nice bonus and aids in comfort. The added support for my head was super nice and a welcome feature. I had to fiddle a bit to get seated in the optimum position, but it only took a couple of minuted and then I found myself ready to doze off - it is that comfortable. I gave it 4 stars because it took longer to arrive than I expected, plus it was lost and rerouted in shipping. Normally, I wouldn't fault the retailer, but the site stated shipping is via UPS, and this shipped FedEx Ground. They seem to lose everything IMHO.

Pros: -it actually does work -lighter than any chair -cheaper than any ultralight chair -more compact than any chair Cons: -not very comfy -VERY small -difficult to use, especially in loose soil -instructions were woefully inadequate. It took me awhile to figure out that you have to have your poles angles behind you, not to your side, and you have to have them at minimum length, not extended.

I've used this all season and have taken it on many dayhikes and multiday backpacking trips. I love the low weight and packability of this chair, so much so that I usually bring this one instead of my Alite Monarch. Set-up can be tricky and it seems I either get it or don't. It's helpful to have soft, level ground, but that is often asking a lot in the PNW. You can adjust the height of the backrest for more or less neck support, which is great. I bring a small sit pad (think cheap lightweight IKEA bleacher pad) which helps when there are rocks. I've also used my Thermarest Zpad to make a full length lounge, to the envy of my friends. This is a great chair, once you get used to setting it up and fiddling with it. I may buy more to share.
