I own this monitor (1080p) and it's great. I rigged a VESA mount to the back despite the stand connector being in the way so I could mount it to a monitor arm.
One point of caution is that while Freesync works, the brightness flickers if the refresh rate is set to anything more than 60hz with it turned on. I am really sensitive to motion sickness so I had to disable Freesync. The issue appears to be a defect of the monitor itself and not drivers. Just a warning if you're really banking on Freesync.
How does this compare to the Asus ROG Strix XG32VQ? I have the Asus and need a new gaming monitor for my wife, this is very similar specs at almost $200 cheaper for the AG32CQ.
