price keeps going down...now at $29.99 for 12 Packs, which is decent assuming that the vendor doesnt do anything shady(like mapping or other BS)
Maybe time to grab some Dominaria....
About the only thing that is good about this is if you want to do a chaos draft, and don’t want to spend the extra time to save a few pennies. That being said, I think this is a good product for exactly that, otherwise if you are looking for just boosters to open, you are probably better off going to eBay.
This is maybe one of the worst "deals" I've ever seen here. The base tier is ok but the higher tiers are ridiculous
why would anybody pay $8.08 [(36.99/12)+5] per pack for Oath of the Gatewatch or Unstable? You can find those for 2.50 and 3.99 elsewhere. I didn't bother tracking down the rest, assume they are overpriced.
It's actually worse. The drop says +15 for Darksteel, but when you go to join the drop and pick your packs it's $20.
These types of things give Massdrop a bad rap.
BiggdogThey still haven't fixed it, 2 days later. Its still charging +$20 for Darksteel

I tested it, and yes, if you get 12 packs of Dominaria they charge you $80.99.
You can almost buy a booster box for that. Don't give these people your money.
wow this is a bad drop!
12 packs for $33-37, and to get NEW REGULAR-PRICED BOOSTERS from high-volume standard-legal sets, you pay a $4 upcharge EACH?!
holy moley, what a ripoff!
Awful just awful!! I got 12 packs of khans and got the same rare 3 different times(all bulk rares)!! I would say the packs were definitely left over. Buyer Beware!!
It is in fact sarcasm. I'm not even purchasing this drop, but your "always" should clearly have been qualified, perhaps with the word ''almost''. You cannot guarantee how every loose open pack in the world is handled.
kakabonaWell, this is a retailer, not ebay or some LGS or Joe Schmo garage sale. This is also a huge listing with multiple packs from multiple sets. I can ALMOST guarantee that loose packs sold through retailers who maximize profits will ALMOST always come from mapped boxes. We don't even know where Mass drop is getting this supply from, so they are safe in anonymity.
So, if you want to continue acting childish then be my guest. You probably shout at your mom when she rolls through a stop sign without coming to a complete stop on her way to drop you off at Chuck-E-Cheese. ALMOST
I'm not sure if they changed the format for how this drop was done, but this seems pretty fair. Super useful if you're trying to get a bunch of packs together to do a chaos draft.
JJGGhow is the pricing on this fair, compared to how much these packs cost from literally any other retailer? (Not even considering that these are certainly mapped packs so you aren’t even getting the best mythics, which in the case of oath of the gatewatch, the best mythics in the set aren’t worth as much as they’re charging per pack)
$2 a pack is a fair price for these sets. Even 12 packs @ $35 is high for a "good" set, compared to buying a box. If the low price on the drop was $22 with free shipping, I'd say ok, worth buying bad packs just to have a good time.
