Since I like to ask... That USB-C hub it's interesting, but there's vagueness in the specs.
Ok it lists 4K out over HDMI but is it...
A) 4K@30
B) 4K@60
C) 4K@120
D) Other
Those USB-C hubs are basically defined by the frame rate of the 4K output. If it's only 4K@30, it's nothing special.
.
AUTOVOLT is excellent: 100V-240V.
But what does USB output: 5V/2.4A (6A max) mean ?
Cannot the seller just say 4 USB chargers at 2.4A each for a TOTAL of 9.6A ?
If it's 4 USB chargers at 2.4A total, then that is so 20th century.
.
GrnmoThey're using pretty standard terminology here. Each USB port can put out 2.4A, but between all four ports, it's limited to 6A. So if you have four devices plugged in, all trying to draw max power, each port would be limited to 1.5A, for a total of 6A.
Not sure if this is manufactured by the same company as Aukey, but I purchased an Aukey branded device exactly like this from Amazon and it emits a high pitched whine when items are plugged into the USB ports and charging. I asked if that was expected and they said no and sent me a replacement. The replacement did the same thing. Anyone with this item that can confirm if it does the same thing?
