I've found that other magnetic car mounts that use a "base plate" on the phone interfere with wireless charging. How does this get around that problem? thanks!
lionsfan54That's a good question and they should have mentioned this in the description. I assume the plates that attach to the phone are metal circles with open middles to allow the charge current to pass through.
lionsfan54The base plates should be placed on the lower part of the phone. Most phones wireless coil receiver are in the middle of the phone. Placing the base plate at the bottom of the phone will prevent any interference.
idealcheeseits a square plate and solid for maximum hold. The circle plates with holes is a good idea, but the hold is too weak for bumpy road condition to keep the phone on the mount.
