Nitecore doesn’t mess around when it comes to flashlights. Take the SRT9 for example: a compact 2,150-lumen flashlight that can be infinitely adjusted with a turn of the built-in Smart Selector Ring Read More
This looks like a cool light with a lot of features and I've been looking for a 2 x 18650 flashlight. But it has a dealbreaker for me that you should all at least be aware of: it has a processor that is constantly operational even if the light isn't in use, so that there is a constant (if small) drain on the batteries. If you go to use it after having left it in the car or a drawer for some length of time, the batteries could be weak or dead, even if you stored it with fully charged batteries.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I have enough flashlights in different places that I don't use some of them all that often. But if I have Eneloops or other LiIon rechargeables in them, I know that they'll still work.

It would have been good to offer OPTION to add the Nitecore Combo: Nitecore Digi Charger D2 w/2x Nitecore NL1835 3500mAh 18650 Batteries + Car & Wall Adaptors + Free Eco-Sensa Battery Case ($50 on Amazon) with this drop. I would have joined the drop if that Nitecore COMBO were offered at a good price.
It would have been good to offer OPTIONS to add the Nitecore SC4 Superb Charger Speedy Charger ($52.95 on Amazon) & 2 Nitecore NL1834 3400mAh Protected Rechargeable 18650 Batteries ($36.53 on Amazon) with this drop. I would have joined the drop if those were offered at a good price.
