How do these fair vs the Sure Se215?

JakeGladneyI'd honestly take SE215 any day. This thing sounds like a 1940's radio or something. Mids are honky, there's barely any treble extension to speak of, bass is somewhat minimal, to the point it's nonexistent
I honestly don't know if my friend's unit is broken or if the IEM is really tuned like that. I was trying to like it, but I struggled with it.
The SE215 sounds like a TOTL IEM compared to these. It's got a clearer, better defined bass. recessed mids and some sort of alright treble extension. But it's nothing horrible, only underperforming for the price it's rated.

malvinvnvIf you add a fiio cable with the 215 the highs sound a lot better, removes the bloated bass

JakeGladneyMaybe, but the performance gain vs the price you have to pay is not something I'd take. I'd just jump straight to the top from whatever IEM I currently have
