Just a reminder to everyone purchasing, READ THE SIZING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY on the description page! Measure a current belt: from the hole you use most to where the leather folds over the buckle. Do not include the buckle in this measurement. Thanks!
KeeganI'm not clear what "where the leather folds over the buckle" means. Are you talking about the point where the buckle is actually *attached* to the leather (i.e. completely wrapped around one side of the buckle) or are you talking about where the other end of the belt comes up from underneath the belt when the belt is secured? If it's the latter, this is most likely within 1/2" of simply including the entire buckle in the measurement...
KeeganThanks, this is helpful. Now I'm curious if I ordered the right size. I use 2 different holes on my current belt (depending on pants). The measured distance for each as per the instructions above is 33.5" or 34.5". Which size belt should I have ordered from you? I went with a 35", but I'm thinking maybe I need to knock that down to a 34"...
ultraconsumerI'd go smaller, there is a good amount of stretch in this leather as it breaks in. I build in an extra inch (if you order 35, I put the run of holes at 34) to account for 1" of stretch, but it can be a little more and depends on the exact piece of leather and the habits of the wearer. So I'd say for you 34" would be perfect.
