So far can find only two positive reviews on web. One online merchant selling for same price with suggestion of MSRP $129. Price seems a little too good to be true for the materials, so I am a little nervous about the overall quality. Other knives from this brand get good reviews so I may bite. Anybody have other knives from this brand?
dgt5I have two of their first gen beefy flippers with D2. I bought it around 4 years ago and I loved it. My Dad really liked it and is super rough on pocket knives, so I won't give him anything more expensive than this price point. He has the first one. I Bought another one to replace it but I have so many knives that it has center console duty in my car as a backup "Oh shit, I forgot to bring a knife" knife. Really nice, snappy action on bearings, solid G10 handles, very solid in hand. The D2 seems to have a good heat treat and sharpened up well on my KME at 20 dps. I think it punches above it's price and wouldn't have reservations with this collab
dgt5 Proelia knives are high-quality and built like tanks. The packaging and pricing is also great with lots of extras. The issue I have is the knives are too heavy and too thick. I have too many knives in a similar size that I would rather carry.
Not bad looking, kind of astounding price ($85 for s35 & carbon fiber) ! I'd be tempted if it wasn't for the clip (not exactly deep carry) and the large cut out for left hand carry ! I'm surprised with all the little extras they throw in they didn't consider an insert tor the presentation side ! That and a shipping date of July 21 !
Okay, I already own a Proelia very similar to this one, but probably going in on this one now, too. The Proelia I own was from a previous Drop. D2 black blade with black G10 handle. It's a beefy knife with a thick blade, and flips open smooth making that nice "ka-chunk" sound when deployed. It's built really well and definitely worth more than the price. I recommend it, and most likely will be getting one myself.
