Idiotic Design - Save yourself from an expensive mess
Who puts a spring inside the barrel and that to attached to it. Does a fountain pen needs any spring ? And if it was put for a ball pen what’s the advantage of putting it in the back. The designer should be hanged for making a mess like that of an otherwise beautiful product. Going to junk!

Exactly what you expect
This is a solid product for the price point. I am very satisfied with it, and it also makes a great gift!

Very nice product. I have switched out the roller-ball attachment for the fountain pen attachment and am very pleased with the result. Fortunately, the attachments are such that they can be switched out without removing the ink barrel for temporary switches. (Leaving the fountain pen and ink barrel in place for any length of time is asking for disaster, but if you need a roller-ball for a couple of things switching them is not problematic.

It is a quite a heavy but slim feeling pen, but it has really good flow and is smooth to write with. One of my favorites with the EF nibs. I would say its very similar in feel to writing with a TWSBI Eco, just bulkier. I haven't really used the ballpoint much.

The pen is very comfortable to the hand you can use it post or unposted equally well even to the larger hands. It feels very solid and has the practicality of being able to convert from rollerball to fountain pen as simple as swapping sections.
The nib on this pen is an EF Extra Fine. I find these nibs slightly harder to control than a Medium nib. However this might be perception, take a look at the photos so you can see some results.

While it is a good pen, the fountain nib is unusable. The spring for the ballpoint is embedded in the body of the pen and pushes all of the ink out of the reservoir when loading the pen.
