Nicely designed; not that newbie friendly
I'm a beginner regarding knives. The stones were nicely labeled so it's easy to recognise which one is course or fine. However, there's no angle guide (which a newbie would really appreciate). The other drawback would be the form factor. It looks truly pleasant but quite difficult to store it away in a toolbox without damaging it.

This didn't come with a 'Custom wooden box' as stated in the description. The quality of the wood holder is poor. It has splinters on the ends. Also, the grits in the product description are confusing. I'm not sure if this will ruin my already sharp knives. I waited 8 weeks for this to arrive.

The perfect companion for high-quality knives!
This was my first foray into home knife sharpening. I've always had decent knives, but never really knew how to take care of them. I was nervous about messing up the edge, so I watched a TON of how-to videos and practiced on some lesser quality knives. I can honestly say it hasn't seemed as difficult as I feared, and though my angles probably still need some work, I'm very happy with my like-new knives!
I even think it looks cool sitting out in my kitchen!
