Sage’s much-talked-about Wolfberg 21-ounce denim is back—and it’s making its exclusive debut here, in extended sizes and two different fits. Made on a shuttle loom, these jeans are sanforized, which means they’re straightforward to size, ready to wear, and will incur minimal shrinkage when washed Read More
bccdI ordered 10 pairs and they emailed me once about it but then they stopped responding to my emails. Now The wolfberg is repriced to $115. So $75 discounted price was just a marketing technique. Such a shady business model. I would rather buy Brave star selvedge for $118. At least I would be supporting people making jeans in USA
Opened the package today, damn, these are awesome. Glad I sized up for sure, though I'm a weird size (35ish) so would have gone for a 37 if it had existed, but the 36 fits. With the .5"-1" of expected stretch these will be perfect.
Not going to be office ready for a while, but after a little break-in at home I can see these being the main pair in my rotation until one of our upcoming projects starts shipping later this year. For the $116 I paid, I can't imagine finding a better pair of heavyweight denim.
Just got my denims delivered. Really glad I sized up from my usual 32"(levis) to a 33" for these. They are super heavy duty and stiff. Hopefully they'll get better after a few washes.
bennysachdevThe first question is easier than the second one, and they're somewhat connected -- i'll try to answer both.
Personally i'd wear my jeans for at least 2 months before I even think of rinsing them, let alone washing them. The first wash on raw denim is the most crucial one and the one that will help dictate how good of a fade you may get over time. There's no one way to achieve beautiful fades like the ones in the sample images, but one thing is for sure: the more you wear them, the more often you put them through your daily grind, the faster they'll start chipping off their indigo and creating what will eventually become your fade patterns.
I’m really disappointed by the recent cancelation of this drop. I’ve been holding off on getting another pair of jeans knowing that these were coming and then...3 months later?...4 months? I don’t even remember...they’re suddenly having shipping issues.
If Massdrop is essentially a different version of Kickstarter now, I’ll look elsewhere. I’m here to buy, not wait forever and then get canceled.
ValhallaThese kinds of high quality jeans are almost always sold with a 34" inseam. Some people like to roll the excess length into a cuff to show off the selvedge, but I usually just get them hemmed.
ValhallaNothing a simple hemming (though i'd recommend getting proper chainstitch hemming whenever possible) can't fit. Most 'high quality jeans' almost always come at around between the 34-36 inseam mark to give the wearer the opportunity to hem them to their desired length, or to cuff them or just to stack them.
Regular hemming can cost you anywhere between 5-20 bucks depends where you live.
Chainstitching can vary between 20-50 buckaroos depends who does it in your area - there's also a few folks that do it online.
sta991All of our sales are final, unless otherwise noted.
The official sizing charts are provided by the vendor, though it's important to note that garments (specially these) are made/finished by hand and can vary slightly. These are sanforized jeans, which is good piece of mind as they won't shrink much (about 3% length-wise after the first wash).
Hope that helps a bit! Thanks for your interest on this drop~
