I got a similar looking model from MassDrop: Sea-Gull Double Retrograde 819.317 Watch. The date dial sure is a pain in the butt to adjust rather than the ones that you can adjust with the knob. The movement runs fast so I have to adjust the time back to normal like every now and then. It's my first and only automatic so I don't know if that's normal or what. I get a lot of compliments whenever I wear the watch.

VannivuThe time issue is pretty common for automatic watches. +-20 seconds is a good standard for budget automatics.

VannivuMy date dial just stopped working entirely after about a month and I had to send it back to massdrop for a refund, they couldn't source a replacement watch. I'm not sure I'll risk it again and just pick up that mondaine automatic I've had my eye on.

Vannivui have the same issue on Arbutus which are using Seagull movements.. what a shit product.. a reputable brand using cheap movement.. i will rather get cheap watches using miyota or probably a automatic Swatch watch which they produce their own swiss movements that are also use by IWC, Tag Huer, and other reputable watches

hanriktanMine has been running well since it arrived in 2/16/15. I hope it will stay that way for awhile. I'm eyeing other brands such as Seiko and Orient next.
