I love this keycap, it even inspired me to complete the rest of the board with “skeletor” color themed keycaps, which changed my whole setup.
its an awesome artisan, although I do have one complaint that it’s too loose, and has actually fallen off with vigorous typing. Luckily the esc. Key doesn’t see too much action so its not that big of a deal
As for people saying it doesn’t fit, I can see how that could happen, I think this one works best with some room around it. (Especially so you can see the front)
Beautiful beyond expectation, not practical due to shape.
A beautiful cap in design and color, encased skull in transparent resin that reflect the light within looks amazing, work with any light, or even without light.
Sadly, as others's review claims, the key "nose" is touching the key below row, it happens when press naturally, but if you press the key cap while pushing opposite side of the "nose" of the cap, it won't touch the key in front of the "nose", so every time when you wish to press the key cap(s), you need to consciously push upward as you pressing downward...
As for now, I think I'll keep it as a collector piece and not put'em on any board,
unless one day I decided to keep it forever, I might cut the "nose" away,
only then I will put it to use.s
I bought the grey one and the blue and orange one, and both of them look extremely nice. The grey one matches the lighter grey on the Massdrop CTRL keycaps very well, and I like how it looks when illuminated by the other keys. It's not transparent, but it reminds me of those old ads showing a kid wearing glasses being illuminated by the glow of a TV. They both lean a bit to the left, the blue and orange a bit more so, but it's nothing too bad.
Well. This is a really cool looking cap but unfortunately the "nose" binds on everything. Tried it on four different boards and on every one it either scrapes against bezels or the keycap on the next row down.
So, in summary, not great.
It is on the obtrusive side for keycaps, had to change the surrounding keycaps to accommodate for it, but it was well worth it! It looks amazing with RGB
Also, it fits loosely, so be wary if you want to use it on a keychain
The caps are pretty good, only issue is that the 'nose' of the computer gets in the way of other keys if you have them in anything other than a function row, which really limits where and what boards you can put them on.
Quality and finish is fine - just looks better on pics than IRL.
It's large and doesn't really work for anything, and scratches up against the key on the row below/under it, tried in 5-6 different boards and it's just too large.
