This light works beautifully for my sewing machine. The purchase price was exceptional. I had already bought one at a sewing expo just days before I saw the Massdrop flyer & paid about $50 more at the Expo. I have a 23 year old sewing cabinet with a very old spring lift bed for my 24 year old machine. The clamp fits into the cabinet cutout & lights up the work surface so well. Great purchase.

This is my 5th! Two over cutting table swivel easily to get best position and light(replaced larger, bulkier lights). A floor lamp by my chair for hand stitching or knitting in the evenings -can even sew on black at night. One at my sewing machine and another floor lamp to move around as needed. Best craft light yet.

Best lighting I got for work
This is the best lighting I got for work. I bought another similar one from Amazon and it’s far worse. I wished I got another one because of hybrid work, the one at the office has been stolen!

I purchased mine in Dec 2018. It stopped working on 3/7/2019. I have contacted the Daylight Company to see if they will replace it. There is no warranty for this product from Massdrop or the company. I hope the company does the right thing.
It was a great light before it stopped working.

Daylight Co., thank you for good customer service and honoring the 2-year warranty even though I purchased this at half the price on Drop. I love it very much and use it daily. Recently noticed an increasing need to twist and tighten the clamp from time to time, but had no idea that it was actually cracking until it broke into half. Daylight Company's website lists an updated version, the Slimline 3, with a stronger metal clamp, perhaps stainless steel, instead of the original cheaper black metallic one. IMO, manufacturer's defect on the original clamp because they did not choose a durable (lifetime use) metal, however this is a very good product, the light stick is flawless, and they have clearly improved the whole product.
FYI EVERYBODY: Drop is NOT Costco. Drop sucks for returning shit (30-day window ffs) and they also say that a vendor has the right to not honor their warranty for batches sold on this website. That is how you are getting super low prices, sometimes. I shall be extremely careful with purchasing on Drop from now on. I CAN HOWEVER VOUCH FOR THE DAYLIGHT COMPANY, TY!! I will definitely be purchasing from them again on their own website at the prices they ask.
