can someone tell me why i should change to this from my standard head unit? since i already got a 6.4" phone which i just mount near the head unit and use bluetooth.
which then become the display for all my media... including GPS!! whoops, Google maps i meant.
but seriously though, why ppl still bother to buy headunits... honestly need a different perspective
PapabearWell some people like myself prefer to own older vehicles. For example I purchased a 1992 Nissan Skyline R32 GTR. It came with a double din sized tape deck/radio. SO for me this type of "head unit" is an excellent way to upgrade, and still keep a nice and clean look to the dash. Adding a cell phone mount with my phone stuck on it, just clutters up everything in the center area of the vehicle. Then gets in the way of the stick shifter... SO for me it boils down to aesthetics and ease of use.
PapabearOH plus I wired the unit up to the "signal" from the reverse lights. Added a backup camera, and piped it in to the display... SO now when I put the car in reverse I get a nice clear view of what is near and around the back of the car...
Jay_Fo right, there's that huh, vehicle camera... wasn't using one, and mainly used the multimedia feature only on my car, and couldn't get past the idea that music, can do spotify, videos, can stream netflix, nav, can do live updates from google maps/here maps/etc...
but didn't consider about rear camera parking feature.
thanks!!
