Would you go as far to say this case is more durable than an aluminum case? Seems dinging/scratching aluminum cases while traveling is a real worry. May be able to avoid that with acrylic?

sacratoyHmm, as far as durability goes I'm not sure. Aluminum is a pretty intense element. That said, if you scratch the anodization you're gunna have a bad time. As far as traveling goes, it's worth considering the weight difference between a chunk of metal and a chunk of acrylic.
