What is SpaceFN and why you should give it a try
The SpaceFN concept - setting up your space key as a layer switch when held - is probably one of the most useful tweaks in the keyboard hobby. Let me explain how it works. My SpaceFN article on kbd.news made some rounds recently - quite surprisingly given the age of this concept. This piece you're reading is a condensed version of the full post. If you're left with unanswered questions, you'll most likely find the info you're looking for in the original write-up. On my imaginary top list of the most useful keyboard features, tweaks and hacks, SpaceFN would deserve a podium finish for sure. But what makes it so special? In short: SpaceFN is easy to implement, easy to learn, costs nothing, can be used with any keyboard, and can improve your productivity instantly. I will list its benefits below, but can state right at this point that the SpaceFN concept, setting up your space key as a layer switch when held, is clearly one of the most useful tweaks in the keyboard hobby....

EK and Amazon has the keypad for $109.99 so basically $110 so just alone with binge's keycap that would be $145 and also they have the apparently rare Realforce keycap as well so the value of that might be $10+
$150 is good for this as you get an artisan keycap and a Realforce keycap as extra those 2 alone are probably valued at $50+.
Your $109.99 at Amazon (free US shipping) or EK might let Massdropers think ~ $99.99 including shipping might be fine and offer the caps for $15.99 and $35.99 as separate drops. I've just bought the 87u and the Realforce cap might have been a good addition for that. This way both kind of customers, Artisan lovers and the rest of us might have been happy.
The bundled keyboards with pbt spacebars are something different for me, because they handle the most unliked weakness of Realforce keyboards. What's your guess about the Japanese Keyboard Fountain Pen Desk Bundle, can you imagine people would have liked to pay less without two pens?
Cheers
