Product Description
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry said, “Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.” This is the guiding principle of the ZERO fountain pen: a minimalist design from Trilogy Pens. Made with a fanatical attention to detail over the course of 2 years, the pen features a CNC-machined 6000 series aluminum alloy body and a smooth-writing German-made Bock nib Read More

Man, UPS killed all the excitement over this pen. How hard can it be to get shipping right? Wanted as much as the pen in charges and for VAT - normally, I had it to 1/3rd of the entire cost using the services we usually get here. Ordering from outside EU is starting to not be worth it with all the hassle and incompetent shipping services.

wow mass drop, I'm impressed at how shady you've become. I recommended this drop to a friend, they were super excited to join MDand pick this up, but it's priced at 49.99 for them so they can't use their welcome coupon, but it's priced $50 for me.

This is a pretty good pen for the cost. I picked one up on the last drop for $47 and it is a steal there, if you like Minimialist pens. This one is as minimalist as you get.

Interested, but the lack of pocket clip is a deal breaker for me.

I recommend you to have a look at user's review about the wooden cradle first. Besides, why use a chunk of wooden block over a small clip to take up all the space on your desk, and I thought this was meant to be a minimalist design.

William_ShiuI couldn’t agree more. I fell in love with the pen at first sight, until I took a second glance. A wooden desk box? Not only is that far from minimalist, but I really don’t need “stuff” on my desk. A pocket clip would have made it for me, but then, I’ve already got a Lamy 2000. 😀

I just had my Parker 51 Vacumatic repaired, how would this pen compare to the Parker? Four pumps and it's good for 10 single spaced written pages, smooth to write with on good 28 lb paper.
rtomkinsSchmidt converters, like the one included with this pen, have a bit more ink capacity than a Parker 51 sac. There is no telling how long it will last. Depends on ink flow, writing style, nib size, etc.

It talks about a "gold nib" but I think it is "gold colored" steel nib. Am I correct?
mtozsuIt's gold-plated, not solid gold, yes.

mtozsuBought this on the previous drop. I got a bit excited though a bit skeptical when it says "gold" but same price. When I started writing I knew instantly it isn't made of gold. A little research, stock gold nibs from Bock would have "750" engraved. Still if it's gold plated, not just some coloring, that's gotta worth something right?

Ri for guan pen from Kickstarter a few years back. It’s one of my favorite everyday pen. It lives on my desk at work in the wooden holder. I got a fine mib and I love It.

DstyleScrew top. It does not post as it’s heavy enough. So when you write the cap rests on the table.

Bought the Namisu Orion Fountain Pen from MD previously. The M nib Bock nib is good and to my liking. Now trying this on the B nib. Hope it will not disappoint.
