How to sell things on Drop & How Drop charge them?
Hi , this Kyle from China. Since a month ago, my team wanted to build a brand to produce the high quality of mechanical keyboard and headset to sell aboard. Now we already got the license to do so, and we can't wait to bring our products to meet everyone. But the products are still in the period of designing, it would take some time :( There are some questions we can't find the ways to solve - how to sell keyboard on Drop, and the details about how Drop charge per product? - Actually I sent an email to Drop Studio for some questions, but I didn't receive the answer.( Drop Studio also mentioned that they can contact me only if they were interested in my design / products ). So I'm here ask for help. If anyone can answer my question, I would really appreciate it :)

Let’s face it, it’s easier to criticize than it is to create.
I've owned a TEK for over a year and I love it. It is indeed truly ergonomic, and it is a real product, a product you will love after the first weeks of adjustment.
Whenever you read a hate post recommending the ErgoDox, it means the ErgoDox troll team is at work. I have lost count when the ErgoDox troll team goes about lying inasmuch as possible against their competitors like the TEK (if you can call the ErgoDox - a box of parts – a product). Simply disregard any hate comment when anyone favors the ErgoDox, particularly if they haven’t used it like ‘Pandora’.
Massdrop is great way for anyone to be able to buy a great product with a great discount, not for hate trollers to waste everybody else’s time.
Feel free to read the following great reviews about the TEK to realize it is a great product: http://www.sacrideo.us/is-the-truly-ergonomic-truly-ergonomic http://nicholas.rinard.us/2011/12/truly-ergonomic-keyboard.html http://writepermission.com/2013/07/truly-ergonomic-full-review http://ergonomicinfo.com/reviews/truly-ergonomic-keyboard-review http://www.anandtech.com/print/6819
I have no connection to Massdrop or Ergodox or anybody else. I bought the TEK and I don't like it. I thought forums were a place to voice your opinions. Apparently it's only allowed if you agree with the masses -- MY bad. I like the layout, I just wish it was either a bit wider or in two parts.
What a load of crap. Who are you? Freaking Dr. Phil?? I don't like it - period.
Intriguing that you praise the ErgoDox considering you haven’t used it. You may even ‘detest’ it more than the TEK for lack of Functions keys, excessive thumb use, lack of tenting parts, and the fact that it is a DIY where you need to solder, assemble, and buy keycaps separately.
Read above links of real reviewers making sense and showing the pros and cons of the TEK to make an informed decision.
How about just chatting about the pros and cons of Massdrop’s products instead of using this and any other ‘forum’ to detest and promote other products?
TEK cons: around 2 weeks to adjust; you will love it afterwards. cost; this Massdrop helps and it will last a long time. the position of some keys; reprogram them. double letters; upgrade firmware. tek’s customer support; very slow, but you will not be dealing with tek’s support, you will deal with Massdrop support.
TEK Pros: mechanical switches. awesome design; non-staggered layout, central keys, symmetric. grouped separate function keys. dual directional blocks and dual control-alt / command-option-control keys. very narrow. removable palmrest. fully reprogrammable with several layers.
Adrian and AABCDS firmly believe anyone who likes the TEK must work for them, but anyone who praises the ErgoDox-DIY-kit must be ok.
How come nobody has compared the TEK against the Kinesis/Maltron or any other ergo board in this 'discussion'? Because the 'humble' ErgoDox troll team players only care about bashing competitors to their beloved DIY-kit. Grow up.
Like the TEK, get one now. Prefer the ErgoDox, wait for the next bluemoon to get your box of parts without keycaps, and be ready to solder and assemble even if you have CTS/RSI. Hooray!
As such, I am extremely interested in acquiring one of these for my home. If I was able to deal only with Massdrop support, I would be much happier!
The TEK 209 Brown at my office has a spotty J key, and I wanted to contact TEK support. I still haven't heard back except for their form letter eleven days later. I know Massdrop support is better, so your post just sold me.
