So, in truth I own just about every product of Urth’s line that Massdrop has offered over the past couple of years. Each one of them is an incredible product, this being one of my favorites that actually helped to hasten the healing process after a staph infection took hold on my face really badly. It provides a very light layer of “gel” that protects the skin quite well, allowing cells to turn over more readily without any impedance by the elements. I liken its consistency to that of almost a less greasy and lighter gel hair pomade, I suppose. And it smells almost a little minty if I could put a word to it, but nothing foul or overpowering in my opinion. Combined with some drops of hyaluronic serum applied to the skin first before applying this product, and then following the application of this one with a really good moisturizing complex like the Vitamin B face complex that they are also offering in another drop right now. The three of them working together managed to save me from some pretty horrific scarring from the infection that would have occurred if left untreated. Just a personal experience I thought I’d share. The scent of Urth products is not for everyone and can be a bit, well, earthy as the supplier’s name would suggest, but it is all top notch ingredients. Nothing from Urth has caused or worsened any problems on my very reaction prone skin as far as I can tell, which is a huge plus and a quality that seems to be pretty scarce among skincare products these days.
