You made it happen! We’re excited to let you all know that the drop was successful and the order has now been placed with the vendor for the Vargo Titanium Hexagon Wood Stove. As soon as they are done preparing the shipment and once we receive it at our warehouse in New Jersey we will break it down into individual orders and have them on their way to each of you! I would not have known about Vargo stoves had it not been for Massdrop. I boiled 1.5 liters of water at sea level in 25 min using twigs on the forest floor. It was very easy to use, lit quickly, maintained flame and heat as needed. There is definitely a learning curve with this stove. I would start off using 3 times the fuel/twigs from the beginning. I am sure it would have cut the boil time considerably. As it is, the stove takes up almost no space, and is lighter than any functional stove / fuel system I have ever come across. After testing, this stove has earned a spot in my backpack. They are so light and convenient I will be picking up a second to use as backup / additional cooking surface.
