Just received mine (grey PBT + green MX). The green MX is totally dreamy. Confirmed that it doesn't work with mac at all... Here's the output from caps, enter, and abcdefg, etc... :
ijkm,./ k/ln`IKL,/`JKL./`K/K/K/K/JKL./`IJKL,./`IJMN,. jkm./ qrsi,qtl`ikl,/`jl.`k/kln/`KLN/`kln/`IM, JKMN./ i,jlqu.`rsz13489y2kqtu/ilm,` iklm,/` iklm,/` ilm,` jkqtu./
About 1/3rd of the keys turn the caps lock on and off, but I think F2 actually toggles caps lock. Sheesh... I don't even know where to start with that. Next steps are to:
1) try the usb to ps/2 to usb method.
search
(still need the other part)
2) My machine is old, anyway... https://wiki.freebsd.org/AppleMacbook
3) If none of that works, I'll be reselling it. But man, I really want to hang onto this sucker. It's about as heavy as a baseball bat (and I actually hit a baseball farther with this keyboard than I do with a bat -- It doubles as a home protection device).
Update: I tried the usb -> ps2 -> usb adapter with no luck. So I rummaged around in the archives and came up with an old ps2 -> AT adapter (and vice versa). It, also didn't work. I even tried a keymapper (Karabiner) with no luck. Seems this is just an OS X incompatible keyboard. I didn't even realize you could do that...
ProletariatI tried all that as well, including a driver for another keyboard that has some extensibility. This keyboard doesn't seem to have a PS/2 mode, which is unfortunate. BTW, are you running FreeBSD on t hat Macbook of yours?
