Before you buy another mechanical keyboard, you want to test out a variety of mechanical switch types and make sure that you’re getting just the right tactile feel and response. An anodized Aluminum baseplate outfitted with eight Cherry switches and four comparable Greetech switches, the Varmilo Switch Tester give you the perfect platform for discovering your perfect type.
Note: At checkout you will have your choice of Blue, Orange, or Purple anodized case. You can also add clear keycaps (+ $3) during check out. Additionally, this tester doesn't come with LEDs. The LED you see in the picture is for Massdrop testing purposes.
Bonus Features
The unique anodized case will make sure the Varmilo switch tester still looks good on your desk, but with the functional presoldered PCB it will also serve a purpose. Plug in with a micro USB cable and you can use it as a functional external number row with 0-9, Backspace and Enter. For extra style you can add some LEDs with programmed breathing function that you can turn off and on with a built in switch.
